I would like to introduce our company Ohnishi Shoji Co.,Ltd.
It is founded in 1887, 20th year of the Meiji era, 123 years ago.
Ohnishi is the name of founder family and we are still family company.
We are about 100 people including directors.
Shoji means commercial affairs.
Ohnishi Shoji is engaged in wholesale of various foods such as sugar, flour, cereals, starch, sweeteners.
We have a distribution network all over Japan including 17local offices.
We have a Head office in Shimonoseki city, Yamaguchi Prefecture, located at the west end of Honshu, near Kyushu Island.
Our core business is the distribution of sugar, supplied by large Trading houses and delivering to large food and beverage companies.
We also deal in wheat flour, starch, sweeteners, seasonings, vegetable oils, salts.
We have recently expanded the business of brewing materials, namely malt, hops and yeasts for local micro-breweries all over Japan.
